Reading quarterly pulse memos against last quarter’s promises

Quarterly adoption pulse work compares today’s signals to a baseline, not to an ideal. If last quarter’s report said “move closing packs into the suite’s document store,” the pulse asks whether that happened for the named applications — nothing more ambitious.

Drift shows up as partial moves: packs land in the suite for domestic entities but not for overseas subsidiaries, or only for routine months. Record the partial as partial. Inflating progress makes the next assessment harder.

Keep the action list short. Three items that owners can schedule beat twelve that become unread. Tie each item to a person already on the application roster.

If signals cannot be refreshed because exports stopped, say so. Silence is itself an adoption finding.
